I live with my partner, two small girls, two cats, four chickens and a great big walnut tree in a wooden lodge near Frome. I divide my time between being with the children, gardening and illustrating, under pinning it all is my shamanic practise.

I originally studied illustration at Falmouth art college but after graduating could not find a way to work in the industry. I found it very intimidating and my creative passion just dried up.

I decided to pursue my other love and returned to college to study horticulture. I followed this career for 15 years, the work was varied and I love being outside. I ran a market garden, maintenance and design business, worked as a horticultural therapist and developed an interest in land energetics and geomancy.

Throughout this time I continued to draw and paint, calling on my illustration skills in the garden design work, but it was really after the birth of my first daughter that I began to love it again.

When expecting my second daughter I started a training a shamanism and this gave me the inspiration and imagination for the illustration work I now create.

It now feels to me that all the strands of my life are beginning to play together.
