Illustration

I studied illustration at Falmouth University. After graduating I worked as an artist exhibiting in the south west and Wales. I then spent many years following a full-tine career in horticulture where I combined my creativity with a passion for the environment in creating and managing gardens.

After becoming a mum I returned to illustration, inspired by my experience of motherhood, my interest in nature connection and shamanic practise.

I now divide my time between illustration, horticulture and being with my children.

Imagine

This is a story about how our worlds are weaved out of the magic of all the parts within them.  Every part is intimately connected, every part is in relationship, every part cannot exist without the other. As we journey into these worlds, allow our imagination to lead us into the unknown, we experience it for ourselves. This connection to nature is so deeply within us it is totally indivisible.

‘As otter swims the watery currents she dreams the silent pools and bright sunlit banks, she feels the ebbs and flows in every sinew of her lung full body. As she moves in fluent delight her lines merge with trout as they dance a dance of life.’

Commissions

I am always delighted to receive commissions.

This work can take any form requested but recently I have been greatly enjoying working shamanicly to meet with power animals that wish to be expressed in the work. I then create a piece that brings the energy most needed at that time.

This process is a combination of journey work and discussion with the client, the resulting work is a deeply personal reflection.

Please contact me to discus your project or for further examples of this work.
